At a recently held convocation of the Institute of Psychology, Counselling, Psychotherapy and Allied Professions of Sri Lanka (Incorporated by Act of Parliament), Prof.Madurasinghe was conferred with the award " MANAWA SARANA" as a recognition of his invaluable services and dedication towards Counselling, Psychotherapy and Mental Health in Sri Lanka.
